Terms & Conditions of booking

Private Swims

The Hirer, on payment of their private swim, has agreed that they have fully read and understood these Pool Hire Terms & Conditions, and that they  are responsible for ensuring all users that attend the facilities during their booking, are made aware of them, and abide by the Pool Rules at all times.

All Users when attending the facilities of Kerrs Road Pool, both the pool house and associated parking, must abide to these Terms and Conditions and the Pool Rules without exception.

​

The Hirer acknowledges that Kerrs Road Pool does not provide any lifeguard supervision, or any such person, to be on duty or otherwise present at the facilities during a booked private swim. Therefore, the Hirer agrees to be responsible for all users in their booked slot & to oversee their wellbeing and safety.

Session: Each session is for a period of 70 minutes inclusive of time spent entering and changing.   Facilities must be strictly vacated by the end of the session booked in a timely manner.  If you arrive late for your session, it still ends 70 minutes from the start of your booking time, not your arrival time.  The owners have the right to enter the building at any time if there is a valid reason to do so in relation to safety or time keeping.

Pool Rules: The specific rules for using the swimming pool, are enclosed, and that forms part of this Agreement. The Hirer agrees to adhere to all the rules.

​

 Payment: The Hirer is liable and responsible for payment of all fees.

Total cost – up to 4 swimming £32, up to 5 swimming £38 and up to six swimming £44.  No more than 6 people are allowed in the pool due to insurance reason.

Cancellation:If Kerrs Road Pool cancel your Session, where the Facilities cannot be used for reasons beyond reasonable control such as emergency maintenance, water below quality or breakdown of equipment, then a full refund will be repaid to the Hirer.


Liability:  Kerrs Road Pool does not accept liability for any loss or damage suffered by the Hirer or users arising out of any breach by the Hirer or its Users. This does not exclude Kerrs Road  Pool’s statutory liability for any loss or damage arising out of any negligence identified on its part.  The Hirer is responsible for all costs incurred by the owner through misuse of the pool or failure to adhere to the Pool Rules or any of the terms of these conditions and agreement.

There is CCTV around the external property of the house, pool house and grounds of the owner.  This is installed to keep the house and surrounding building safe and secure.  It is on 365 days of the year and runs 24hours.   Therefore users of the pool will be recorded driving to the property, parking, entering and leaving the pool house.

Accidents, incidents and injuries:  Should any Hirer, User or other person be involved with or otherwise aware of any incident or accident, whether any injury is caused or not, then they must record the matter in the accident book before leaving the Facilities.  The Hirer, User or other person must , as soon as possible phone the pool owner on 07762480858 and also notify them by email at Kerrsroadpool33@gmail.com informing them of the matter and confirming that a record was made in the accident book on site.  The Accident Book is located in the boiler room and can be got from the pool owners at the time for completion.

POOL RULES

These are the specific rules that must at all times be followed by Users when attending and using the Facilities.

​

  • Permitted use means no more than 6 (six), users in the water during any Session,

​

  • No individual User ( under the age of 18 years) must be in the water of the swimming pool unless they are visible by another User,

 

  • The Facilities do not have a lifeguard on duty for Sessions. The Hirer must personally be present for the full duration of a Sessions, and is responsible for all User

​

  • Users are asked to exercise caution when using the pool if they have eaten within one hour before swimming,

 

  • The Hirer should have a mobile telephone readily accessible for use in the event of an emergency

​

  • All users must shower prior to entering the Pool,

​

  • Infants should wear the correct size of swimming nappies at all times in the Pool and Pool House. This is to be a correctly fitted & disposed off. Babies should also wear wet suits,

​

  • Swimming caps should be worn by swimmers,

​

  • It is recommended that all individuals wear non slip pool shoes around the pool house,

 

  • No diving or jumping into the pool,

 

  • No horseplay (pushing people into the pool, dive bombing etc.),

 

  • No running around the edge of the pool or in the Pool House,

 

  • No hard balls are allowed in the Pool House – inflatable balls are acceptable.

 

  • No food, drink, glass, bottles or any breakable items are allowed in the Pool House.

​

  • All jewellery should be removed prior to entering the water, and

​

  • All entrance doors must be kept closed whilst inside the Pool House and we appreciate if windows remain shut. The loss of heat via unnecessary open doors or windows is not cost effective for us.

 

 

Sickness

 

Do not come to the pool if you are showing any symptoms of illness, such as a cough, temperature, stomach upset.

 

 

General comments

 

Bring any equipment with you such as armbands, floats, goggles, and kickboards for your own use.
